How to Create A New Scenario

Step 1
From the "Dialogue" menu select the site for which you want to create the scenario and click on the "Scenario" link.

Step 2
Click on the "New" button, and give your scenario a name, and click create.

Step 3
Click on the arrow icon on the right to open and edit the scenario you just created. 

Step 4
Click on "+Add a step" and then "+add an event" to get started. 

Step 5
Choose an event from the dropdown choices of "Condition," "Message," or "Delay." 

How to Import a Scenario
The Sourcepoint platform allows you to import a previously created scenario from another site. This features saves you the time of having to recreate scenarios previously created for another site.

Step 1
Click on the "Import" button and you will see the import wizard in the screenshot below.

Step 2
Choose the site from which you want to import the scenario from the dropdown menu under "SELECT THE SITE."

Step 3
Choose the scenario you want to import using the dropdown menu under "Choose".  If you are an admin, you may also choose to copy all messages associated with the scenario you choose, by toggling the "Copy with Messages" to on. Note, the toggle will turn green when "Copy with Messages" is turned on. 

Step 4
Once everything is selected, click on the "Import Scenario" button and the scenario will be replicated in the site. 

How to Copy a Scenario
The Sourcepoint platform allows you to copy or duplicate a previously created scenario. This features saves you the time of having to recreate scenario's where you only want to change or modify a step or two.

Step 1
Click on the arrow button on the right and you will see three horizontal dots. If you click on the first icon (highlighted below), the scenario will be copied. Again, if you have admin user status and you hover over this copy icon on top, you will see the option to "Copy with Messages" toggle. 

Step 2
Once you have decided to copy with or without messages, click on the copy icon and you will see your scenario copied with the original title of the scenario followed by "(copy)."

Step 3
You can now edit or modify a new scenario while keeping the original as it was.
